The American Community Gardening Association is proud to announce the launch of ACGA’s exclusive Community Garden Insurance Program. Gardens of all sizes can now be properly protected against unforeseen accidents and liability. Policy highlights include:
- Liability ranging from $100,000 to $1 million dollars
- Optional package for Directors and Officers Liability
- Equipment Breakdown Coverage available,

Below is a list of ineligible items:
Gardens larger than 5 acres
Organizations that utilize heavy farming equipment including but not limited to tractors, plows, harvesters and other mechanized farm equipment and implements
Any planned demolition of structures, excavation, blasting, grading, or drilling on the premises during the policy term
Organizations involved, directly or indirectly in any demonstrations, protests, civil disobedience or similar activities or use legal action to promote, advance or support its cause.
Organizations that permit or house any animals/livestock on the premises
Organizations involved in or organized as CSA (Community Supported Agriculture), Food Cooperative, or Commercial Farming Operations
