The American Community Gardening Association has been on the forefront of the gardening movement in the US and Canada for 35 years. Our networks and resources are deep and we are excited to share our expertise with you as a reference or source for your articles.

Our board members represent every region of the country and are experts in their own right serving as park district and public garden employees, environmental educators, garden program managers, Extension professionals, authors, speakers and more. To learn more about our board, click HERE.

ACGA promotes and hosts a number of activities throughout the year that are engaging and interesting to the general public. To check out our events, click HERE.

In 2014, our 35th annual conference will happen August 7-10 at The Field Museum in Chicago. ACGA was born in Chicago 35 years ago so this is also a big anniversary for the organization. Networking, tours, lectures and seminars bring together 400+ community garden leaders – representing thousands of gardens in the US, Canada and abroad.
