Southside Occupational Academy focuses on teaching functional academics and vocational, social, and independent living skills to students with mild cognitive impairments, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and social/emotional and behavioral disorders. To learn job skills, increase independence, use communication skills, and enhance their appreciation of nature and their place within the world, students work in the edible and ornamental gardens during horticulture and science classes. All other classes and neighbors are invited to join us!
