Youth
We at ACGA recognize the importance of investing in and supporting the children and young adults who are the future leaders of the community gardening movement. Learning and working in the garden has a myriad of benefits for participants of any age. Work with youth in the garden helps to create well-rounded citizens with strong life skills and community perspective. From school teachers who plant pea patches with their students to visionaries who facilitate youth entrepreneurship programs and inspire the leaders of tomorrow, a huge portion of ACGA's membership describe themselves as involved with youth programs.

Rebel Tomato
A site focused on starting many different kinds of youth gardens from neighborhood to youth entrepreneurial projects, complete with interactive garden design resources.
