Participating vendors and businesses help to support the ACGA’s mission to build community by promoting community gardening and greening across the United States and Canada.
Vendor booths will be staged Thursday, August 8th through midday Saturday, August 10th.
Note: University of Washington guidelines prohibit sales at the conference, though a laptop with internet connection can be present at your table.

This conference brings together people from across the United States, Canada, and abroad who are engaged in all aspects of gardening and greening.
This year’s workshop themes include:

Horticulture, Permaculture, and City Livestock
Learn about plants, pests and diseases, pollinators, sustainable landscape design principles, urban biodiversity, and urban livestock management.
- Make it Happen . . .
Policy, Implementation, and Management
Discuss policies and ordinances supporting community gardens and urban farms and the design, implementation, management, and history of community gardening/urban farming programs.
- Community Gardening & Society . . .
Culture & Social and Environmental Justice
Gain knowledge of socio-cultural meanings of food; heritage crops and techniques; equal access to healthful food, and much, much more.
- Sound Mind & Body . . .
Health, Prevention, and Therapy
Study the physical and mental health benefits of community gardening/urban farming.
- The Food System . . .
Garden/Farm to Table to Compost to Garden/Farm
Understand local food economies and redirecting recyclable or compostable materials out of the waste stream.
Donate items to the silent auction to support the American Community Gardening Association (ACGA)
The Silent Auction will be held on Friday, August 9, 2013 at the Friday Evening Gala Celebration. All proceeds benefit ACGA.

The American Community Gardening Association (ACGA) promotes community gardening and greening across the United States and Canada.
ACGA's annual conference provides an opportunity for professionals, volunteers, and supporters of community greening in urban and rural communities to gather together, to share information and resources pertaining to:

- Orchards and permaculture
- Preservation and management of open spaces
- Integrated planning, management, and development of urban and rural lands
